Philadelphia International Airport is the largest airport in Pennsylvania. The majority of the airport is located in Philadelphia but the international terminal and the western side of the airport is located in Tinicum Township, Delaware. It is also the largest in the Delaware Valley region. PHL has over 29 million passengers per year making it the 20th busiest airport in the United States. It serves over 130 destinations domestically and internationally. PHL’s destinations include the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. The airport has 7 terminals, 124 gates, and over 25 airlines operating out of it. Their top airlines include American, Southwest, Delta, and Frontier. They are a large international hub for American Airlines and regional hub for UPS. There are approximately 20,000 employees.
